Dr Helmer offers a one step correction for Brachymetatarsia (Congenitally short toe). The procedure is fast, safe, and results in a very desirable cosmetic and functional result. The procedure may performed in the office, hospital, or surgery center according to patient needs. \
Plantar Fascitis Repair
Dr. Helmer performs a minimally invasive no stitch plantar fascia repair (Plantar Fasciotomy). The procedure is usually done in the office, with the patient requiring Band-Aids 48 hours after the procedure, and the patient resuming normal activities in 5-7 days.
Anke Sprain Repair
When required, Dr. Helmer offers a minimally invasive ankle ligament repair for chronic ankle sprains associated with chronic pain, swelling, and instability of the chronically sprained/unstable ankle. Performed in the office, the procedure is accomplished in under 20 minutes, with a minimal incision site.
